Community Dinner + Performance

As part of this year’s ‘Forskningens Døgn‘ program, we invite you to enjoy a cozy community dinner, followed by the performance Sworld by Frederik Heidemann and Alexander Holm.
COMMUNITY DINNER:
Enjoy a delicious dinner in great company before the SWORLD performance.
Per Fogsgaard fires up the pots and prepares a tasty communal meal in Sound Art Lab’s cozy common area.
PERFORMANCE: SWORLD – Sensory Worlds
How can sound evoke experiences of phenomena that are not immediately present? And how can such experiences expand the way we listen, perceive, and engage with our surroundings?
Frederik Heidemann and Alexander Holm present the project Sworld, which explores themes such as ghosts, absence, and lost memories through performative investigations.
Frederik Heidemann is a Danish artist working with music, performance, and radio. He deconstructs music as a purely auditory discipline by incorporating it into a visual practice, where he simultaneously takes on the role of body, instrument, and composer. He is a regular contributor to the online radio station thelakeradio.com.
Alexander Holm is a sound artist from Copenhagen. In live presentations, he often includes elements of choreography, site-specific performance, and applied theory. Most recently, he presented his practice-based APD project at RMC in Copenhagen, where he explores film theorist Michel Chion’s audiovisual concepts within live performance.
