This residency aims to support artists working in sound-related practices and offers an outstanding environment for exploration, experimentation, focus and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residency Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Place:<\/strong> Sound Art Lab, Struer, Denmark<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1 month within 2024<\/li>\n<li><strong>Grant:<\/strong> \u20ac2000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel Costs:<\/strong> Up to \u20ac800 reimbursed<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accommodation:<\/strong> Included<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workshop Requirement:<\/strong> Selected artists will facilitate a workshop for the age group 16-25 during their stay.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open for:<\/strong> Artists living outside of Denmark<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> July 1, 2024, 23:59 CEST<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project description (max. 1 page) including motivation and available dates for the residency.<\/li>\n<li>Artist bio (max. 1 page).<\/li>\n<li>CV (max. 1 page).<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio (max. 10 pages).<\/li>\n<li>Samples of sound work (if relevant), as links or MP3 files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>File Format:<\/strong> PDF<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language:<\/strong> Danish or English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maximum File Size:<\/strong> 20 MB in total<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong> Please compile all application materials into a single PDF file and email it to residency@soundartlab.org before the deadline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection Process:<\/strong> A jury will review all applications and select the artists based on the quality and relevance of their work, as well as their proposed project for the residency.<\/p>\n<p>The jury consists of Louise Tandrup Esbensen, Country Town, and Jacob Eriksen, Sound Art Lab.<\/p>\n<p>Emphasis is placed on the applicant&#8217;s portfolio, motivation and project idea, and that the applicant will be able to benefit from a residency at Sound Art Lab with space and time for development and exploration within their own artistic practice.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to receiving your applications!<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
