A Place To Lay Down And Listen:

Give in to rest and listening and experience how lying down supports one’s listening.

A Place to Lay Down and Listen is an intervention developed by Bureau for Listening that seeks to bring more rest and listening to public spaces. Whether you have a physical and mental need, or are just curious about rest and listening as artistic and activist formats, you are invited to lie down and listen. You have the opportunity to put on a pair of headphones and listen to a selected sound piece. We hope this provides you with the chance to breathe as you find comfortable and find rest between your many other engagements for the day.

LYT MED FREMTIDEN – Listening walk + Workshop:

Bureau for Listening invites you to a listening walk followed by a workshop. Listening and walking are two fundamental human activities that operate across times, places, concepts, and scales. The listening walk aims to sharpen our awareness of listening as a co-creative, speculative, and caring act. We will ask ourselves: what should we listen with, now and in the future? What relationships, phenomena, and beings should we learn to listen with in our attempt to imagine a different future?

Both events is part of the project Sounds of the Future, which is organised by Sound Art Lab, SPOR Festival and Struer Tracks, and supported by Region Midtjylland’s Culture Development Fund.
