Sounds of the Future Residency

OPEN CALL: Sounds of the Future Residency
– for artists living in Denmark or strongly associated with the Danish sound art scene.
Apply for up to 3 weeks residency with a workgrant of 10.000 dkr. per week, private studio, access to sound studios, workshops and equipment, free accommodation and more.
The application should include:
– Short description of your project, motivation and how you work with development and exploration with your own practice. (max. 1 page)
– CV (pdf of max. 2 pages)
– Portfolio (pdf of max. 10 pages) incl. samples of sound work where applicable (as links)
– Important: Specify preferred dates and duration for a residency in your motivation, you are welcome to suggest several different wishes. The residency must be completed by 2022, and can be divided into 2 periods.

Sounds of the Future Residency is made in collaboration between Sound Art Lab, SPOR festival, Struer Tracks and the Danish Composers’ Association.
This residency programme is supported by Danish Composers’ Society and is offered as part of the project ‘The future of sound art in the central region of Jutland, Denmark’ supported by Region Midtjyllands Kulturpulje.
