Struer Tracks #4: Currents

23–27 Aug 2023
Sound Art Lab Struer Tracks

Struer Tracks is a five-day biennial for sound and listening in the public space of Struer, Denmark. This fourth edition, titled Currents, will be staged across various locations, presenting in/outdoor sound installations, performances, radio, workshops and lectures. Resonating the essentially ephemeral qualities of sound, the 2023 programme reflects on a world that is constantly changing.

Serving as a metaphorical image of a world in a state of flux, this year’s programme reflects on the currents of life, and what it is like to be surrounded and carried along by them. Through installations and performances, we are invited to listen carefully to what is experienced in the moment, remembered from the past and envisioned for a future that might not be far away.

Struer Tracks #4 is currated by Matilde Best and Jacob Eriksen.
