SAL Project Space #1: Laure Boer + Yan Cheng

Multi-instrumentalist Laure Boer and artist Yan Cheng have been Soun Art Lab’s first international artist on a three-month residency.
During their stay, they have worked with artistic development and studies of the nature in and surrounding Struer.
Among other things, they have visited the bats in Hjerm Kalkmine, fell in love with the windy Limfjord, gained all the knowlegde they could from the experts in Sound Hub, consulted with the radio amateurs from OZ3EDR and was in inspired by the changing sunlight.
To mark the end Boer’s and Cheng’s stay, Sound Art Lab presents a performance program which occupies large parts of the old Bang & Olufsen building at Peter Bangs Vej 17B and transform the abandoned office spaces into laboratories for sound, light, water and oysters

2.10-2.40: WALK by Laure Boer
– We’ll walk together to the fjord and listen to the sky light through the Oysters Oscillators.
2.40-3.00: Break
3.00: AFTERMATH: H20 by Yan Cheng
– Installation / performance at 3. Floor
3.15: LABORATORIUM: ANAPLOPRUPES STERCORSUS by Yan Cheng
– Living static installation and reading at 1. Floor
3.35-4.00: PERFORMANCE Laure Boer
– Live performance with a setup that react to light and room vibrations at 2. floor
